I'm so happy that Arc System Works is finally moving on from the XX Series and now moving into an "Actual" Guilty Gear Sequel. No offense to BlazBlue trying to be the next modern Guilty Gear game but nothing is like the Original.
Arc System Works has announced the latest series was held at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall on May 19.
The Arc System Works Festival this year marked the memorable 25th anniversary of Arc System Works founding, 15 years of the Guilty Gear series and 5 years the Blazblue series. The announcement was revealed in the media for presentation of the tournament after.
In "Guilty Gear Xrd-Sign-" Everything is made in 3D models while being played as a 2D fighting game, and it is assumed to be the force that was taking advantage of 3D in production. In addition, Sol & Ky returns showing off combos such as "D-loop", and a few other returning characters appeared.
It is being developed for the Arcade engine which is adapting the Unreal Engine. Mr. Ishiwata stated that there isn't an release date as of yet but will be announced very soon.
